Juan Segovia Elias

Juan Segovia Elias, age 90, born in Puerta de Tupila, Veracruz, Mexico and resident of Albuquerque since 1960, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018.  Mr. Segovia is survived by his beloved wife, Sara; children, Patricia Segovia and partner, Pat Mileshosky, Enrique A. Segovia and wife, Yvonne, Sara Segovia and Lorena Segovia Frias and husband, Richard; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three siblings.  Mr. Segovia was preceded in death by his daughter, Juanita Segovia and sons, Juan Gerardo Segovia and Alvaro Segovia.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.; Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW.  Interment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Cordova, Michael Montoya, Amanda Sam Segovia, Tessa Frias, Dante Frias and Richard Frias.  Honorary pallbearers will be Sandra Segovia, Jaclyn Segovia, Shamaine Griego and Tomas Segovia.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
