Ralph Martinez

Ralph I. Martinez, age 84, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Mr. Martinez is survived by his children, Elaine Silva and husband, Bill, Alfred Martinez and wife, Stephanie, Johnny Martinez and wife, Patricia; sisters, Consuelo Padilla, Sophie Cordova; brother, Louis Martinez; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Martinez; brother, Alfredo Martinez; and parents, Alfredo and Alice Martinez. Mr. Martinez was a Navy veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge as well as the founder and owner of the historic landmark Central Barber & Beauty shop. A commital service will be held on March 23rd, 2018 at 2:15 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
