Sara Ruiz Segovia

Sara Ruiz Segovia, age 89, born in Donna, Texas and resident of Albuquerque passed away Friday, December 14, 2018.  Sara is survived by her children, Patricia Segovia and partner, Pat Mileshosky, Enrique Segovia and wife, Yvonne, Sara Segovia, Lorena Segovia-Frias and husband, Richard; sisters, Socorro Ruiz, Irma Bocanegra and husband, Sergio; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many other extended family members.  Sara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan Segovia Elias; daughter, Juanita Segovia and sons, Juan Gerardo Segovia and Alvaro Segovia.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary/Vigil service to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 21, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave SW.   Interment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Cordova, Michael Montoya, Tomas Segovia, Amanda Sam Segovia, Tessa Frias and Dante Frias.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Sandra Segovia, Jaclyn Segovia, Shamaine Griego and Richard Frias.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
