Everyone’s Grandpa.
On Tuesday, December 15th, 2020 loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather Adolfo E. Zamora passed away peacefully at the age of 86.
Adolfo was born on November 29th, 1934 in Abo, New Mexico to Adolfo Zamora and Ramona Valdez Zamora. He married Adelina Chavez in 1954, they had two children Christopher and Debra.
Adolfo was known for his feisty nature, quick wit, love of music, and generous heart.
Adolfo was preceded in death by his wife Adelina Zamora, his parents Adolfo
and Ramona Zamora, as well as his siblings Priscilla Jojola, Vivian Espinosa, Alfonso Zamora, Rupert Zamora, Nellie Perea and Cleo Garcia.
He is survived by by is daughter Debra Alvarez and husband George Alvarez, granddaughter’s Candice Kowal and Deidra Aviles, great granddaughter Reyna Adelina Aviles, sister Josephine Aragon, and several nieces and nephews.
Though his biological family was small he proudly served as everyone’s grandpa, “Goompa” or tio. He was known for his love of coffee made in a percolator, and feeding everyone who visited him.
He will be greatly missed.
