Agapito "Pete" Apodaca, age 73, born in Las Vegas, NM,  a former resident of Albuquerque and a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. Mr. Apodaca is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Helen; son, Pedro (Pete) Apodaca and companion, Nancy Gonzales; daughter, Angela Lucero and husband, Eric; seven grandchildren, Gabby, Andres, Andre, Gabriel, Adrianna, Ashley, Aliyah; three great grandchildren, Davonte, Daniel, Leilani; brothers, Luciano Apodaca, Ignacio Apodaca; sisters, Anna Gutierrez, Perfie Barela and husband, Felix, Vira Tidwell and husband, Gene, Rosie Avila and husband, Eddie; aunt, Magdalena Quintana; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.  Mr. Apodaca was employed by A.P.S. for twenty six years and after he retired from A.P.S. he worked for the Downtown Action Team. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Belen, 19381 NM Hwy 314, Belen NM. with a Funeral Service to be held at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Andres Apodaca, Andre Lucero, Gabby Apodaca, Adrianna Lucero, Gabriel Apodaca, and Danny Apodaca.
