Alejandro Garcia

Alejandro F. Garcia, age 82, born in Canon De Jemez, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018.  Mr. Garcia is survived by his beloved wife, Angelita Garcia of 61 years; children, Edwigen and wife, Sandra, Bernard, Larry, Peter, Carmen Duarte and husband, John; sister, Flora Rivera; brothers, Willie and wife, Maryann Garcia, Ralph and wife, Virginia Garcia; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Pablita Garcia; parents-in-law, Eduvigen and Anita Baldonado; brothers, Delfino Garcia and Orlando Garcia.  Mr. Garcia proudly served in the United States Marine Corp for three years during the Korean War.

A Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. SW, with Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, on Monday, January 29, 2018.  Pallbearers will be Jonathan Fortney, Elijah Ybarra, Larry Garcia, Timothy Montoya, Ryan Garcia, Joseph Lucero, Ernie Baldonado and Raymond Baldonado.
