Alfonso Padilla

Alfonso Padilla, age 89, born in San Jose, New Mexico, and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 with his family by his side.  Mr. Padilla is survived by his daughter, Sandra Padilla and Boyfriend, Sam; sister, Chana Gonzales Padilla and husband, Avriano; brothers, Abenicio Padilla, Adolfo Padilla and wife, Maria; grandchildren, Dominic Viapando and wife, Lisa and Sadie Chavez.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m.; Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Chavez, Leonard Baca, Paul Grossetete, Joe Sanchez, Arnold Grossetete and Alfred Grossetete.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Dominic Vialpando, Sadie Chavez, Leonard Padilla, Gary Gonzales and Michael Chavez.
