Amelia Chavez at the age 89, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021,was born in Albuquerque, NM on January 4,1932. She would say that even though there were hard times, her family always had everything they needed. She loved to sew and make crafts, also made quilted blankets, dolls and ceramic wall plaques. She loved working in the yard and could take a twig or piece of a plant and make it grow. Our momwas proud of her heritage and recorded our history by making an album of our ancestors with stories and pictures so we could enjoy our history for several generation to come. She didn’t complain and never had a bad thing to say about anyone, her unconditional love for her family, is what made her so special.
