Americo J. Jaramillo, age 80, born in Socorro, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, April 04, 2016. Mr. Jaramillo is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Bernice ; daughters, Melissa (Missy) Pohl and husband, David, Marissa Flores and husband, Paul; sisters, Rosie Castillo and husband, Jerry, and Nora Gonzales; brothers, Celedon Jaramillo and wife, Mela, Tom Jaramillo, and Gene Gavaldon and wife, Elvira; grandchildren, Isiah Pohl, and Maya Pohl; godchildren, Isiah Pohl, Mark Cordova, and Cathy Castillo; many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Mr. Jaramillo was preceded in death by his parents, Celedon Jaramillo and Arsenia Gavaldon; sister, Sue Luchini; brother, Carl Gavaldon ; godson/nephew, David Jaramillo.  Mr. Jaramillo was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.  Visitation will be Friday, April 08, 2016 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW from 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.   A Committal  Service is scheduled for Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 9:45 a.m.  Urnbearers will be David Pohl, and Paul Flores.
