Angelo Fruiter Avalos, age 28, born and raised in Albuquerque, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. Angelo is survived by his dad, Michael Avalos; siblings, Toby Avalos, Annalisa Avalos, Robert Moraga and Amanda Avalos; goddaughter, Elvira Renee Calabaza; nieces and nephews, Toby Jr., Esperanza, Reyna, Angel, Jacob, Estrella, Analeah, Sunny and Violet. Angelo was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Avalos.Fruiter enjoyed his love for cars, his car club, the Colts and the ladies. He was a gentle giant with a soft heart, a lover and a fighter. No matter what he went through Angelo always had a smile on his face. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Fruiter was soft spoken with a big cheesy grin. He loved all of his nieces and nephews as if they were his own, especially his princess, his goddaughter, Elvira. Angelo is cruising into heaven with is ride or die partner, his momma.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 10:15 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a prayer service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Toby Avalos, Robert Moraga, Mikey Vasquez, Toby Avalos Jr., Robert Lopez and Alex Hugo Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Lopez Jr. Steven Chavez, Angel Garcia, John-John Sedillo, Hector Rodriguez, Chris Martinez and Raymond Soto.
