Annabelle V. Padilla, age 89, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, a resident of Albuquerque, was called home by our Lord, Monday, April 6, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Padilla is survived by her children, Mary Ann Villescas and husband, Arthur, Paul Padilla and wife, Maggie of La Verne, CA, Viola Zamora and husband, Sosteno, John Padilla and wife, Linda, Michael Padilla and wife, Jude, Danette Jaramillo and Juan, Ronald Padilla, Marty Padilla and wife, Monica, Joseph Padilla and wife, Michelle of Colorado Springs, CO, and Trini Arambula and husband, Jesus; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren and one on the way; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Padilla was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Esequiel (Skippy) Padilla; parents, Daniel and Beatrice (Piti) Padilla; brothers, Placido, Ramon, Daniel, and Orlando Padilla; and sisters, Dolores Barela, and Angelina Garcia. Mrs. Padilla loved her family very much, but most of all she loved her faith and the Lord. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member of the Sacred Heart League. Visitation will be Thursday, April 09, 2015 from 8:15 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 9:00 a.m. by her son, John Padilla; Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Padilla, Matt Sanchez, Esequiel Padilla, Elias Padilla, Christopher Whitaker, and Joseph Padilla Jr.   Honorary pallbearers will be Art Villescas Jr., Sosteno Zamora Jr., Diego Padilla, Dominic Juarez, and Gerardo Arambula. The family is forever thankful and grateful to Life Spire Assisted Living Facility for the wonderful care and love they gave our mother, all of whom became family. Thank you also to Heritage Home Healthcare and Hospice for their kindness and support. The family requests that donations be made in Annabelle's honor to Holy Family Catholic Church Sacred Heart League, P.O. Box 12127, Albuquerque, NM 87195.
