Reverend Anthony G. Maes, age 62, born June 4, 1955, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. Father Anthony is survived by his mother, Maria G. Maes; brothers, Frank Maes and wife, Georgia, Adrian Maes and wife, Gerrie; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Father Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Henry B. Maes. Father Anthony faithfully served the people of God as a priest of Jesus Christ for thirty-five years.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE, with Vigil and Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.; Final Visitation will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Enriquez Maes, Robert Romero, Jason Edwards, Justin Ayala, Ronald Maes, Fernando Flores. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Gomez and Bobby Torres.
