Antonio Aragon, age 87, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, and is now in Heaven with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-three years, Gertrude Aragon “Mi Chaparrita de Oro”. Antonio is survived by his three children Isidore Aragon, Barbara Anglin and Eugene Aragon; six grandchildren, Debbie Chavez, Juanito Chavez and wife, Melanie, Gino Aragon and wife, Gracie, Joseph Aragon and Tiffani, Andrew Aragon, and Zachary Aragon; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren on the way; many extended family members and friends. Antonio loved classic cars and helping others. He was devoted to his family and his Catholic faith. Antonio retired from Albuquerque Public Schools after twenty-seven years. He loved working at APS and never had one sick leave day. A Rosary will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 619 Copper Ave NE on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow the Mass at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery 2957 Arenal Rd. SW. On behalf of the family, we would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this time.
