CHAVEZ, ARTHUR (TUDY) H., age 68, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with Our Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 18, 2014. Mr. Chavez is survived by his son, Rick Chavez; daughter, Monica Chavez-Trujillo and husband, Robert; brothers, Albert Chavez and wife, Julie, Louie Chavez, John Chavez and wife, Nora; sister, Beatrice Chavez; five grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members and friends. Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ramona Chavez; sister, Louise Chavez-Orozco. Arthur (Tudy) will be greatly missed by all who were fortune enough to know him. Mr. Chavez was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam Era. Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Committal Service will be Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Please visit www.gabaldonmortuaryinc.com to sign the online guestbook.
