Arturo Montoya

Arturo Montoya, age 80, born in Torreon, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 with his family by his side.  Mr. Montoya is survived by his children, Liz Lucero and husband, Ronnie, Carmen DuPree and husband, Rodney, Art Montoya and wife, Lynette; grandchildren, Vanessa, Dominic, Breanne, Eddie, Amber, Justin, Gabe and Diego; great-grandchildren, Analyssa, Ariya, Aliyah and Tyus; sister, Frances Sanchez; brother, Roger Montoya and wife, Esther; brothers-in-law, Flavio Marquez and Silviano Marquez; sister-in-law, Charlotte Tobias; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Montoya was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louisa and his brother, Ben Montoya.   A visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.; a final visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Vanessa Lucero, Dominic Lucero, Breanne DeHerrera, Amber DuPree, Gabriel Montoya and Diego Montoya.  Honorary pallbearers will be Flavio Marquez and Silviano Marquez.
