Arturo Vasquez Urquidez

Arturo Vasquez Urquidez, age 77, born in Loving, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019.  Mr. Urquidez is survived by his son, Art Carrasco Urquidez and fiancée, Krystal Kinney and son, Gerald Urquidez; grandchildren, Austin, Aaron, Jarrod, Jacob and Joshua; siblings, Margarito and wife, Noema Urquidez, Luciano and wife, Tina Urquidez, Thelma and husband, P.J. Catano, Gloria U. Galindo, Antonio and wife, Lena Urquidez, Terry and husband, Edward McGary.  Mr. Urquidez was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Florence V. Urquidez; parents, Miguel and Lucia Urquidez; brothers, Miguel (Mike) Urquidez and Jose (Joe) Luis Urquidez.  Mr. Urquidez was a Vietnam Combat Veteran proudly serving in the United States Air Force and the Marine Corp and was honorably discharged in 1975.

A visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Art Urquidez, Gerald Urquidez, Austin Urquidez, Aaron Urquidez, Tony Urquidez and Magarito Urquidez.
