Beatrice Cisneros

Beatrice (Bea) Cisneros (Perea), age 92, left this material world to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.   Bea was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many.  She is survived by her children, Patricia Chavez and husband, Robert, Rosalie Romero and husband, Leandro and Rolando Cisneros and wife, Andrea; grandchildren, Lisa Contreras and husband, Carlos, Andrea Carvajal and husband, Scott, Vincent Chavez and wife, Nok, Carlos Romero and wife, Melissa, Emmet Chavez; great-grandchildren, Jayson, Mia, Nicolas, Joaquin, Etta Bea, Soledad and Bea Valentina; brother, Ben Perea and wife, Liz; Sisters Rita Duarte and husband, Luis, Dolores Lopez and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Bea was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose R. Cisneros.

A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, Bea lived her ninety-two years with love, joy and enthusiasm for life.  Bea was a strong and determined woman and faced life with faith, courage, grace, humor and laughter.  She held her family close in the most tender of ways.  She was an award-winning cook and bingo player. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with a committal service to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

A special thank you to Nancy and Dave Giblin and their staff at the Retreat at Oxbow for their tender loving care of out mother, also Hospice nurse Clarise Carrillo, and Hospice caretaker Theresa.

Pallbearers will be Ben Perea, Robert Cisneros, Emmet Chavez, Carlos Romero, Jayson Contreras and Nicolas Carvajal.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Vincent Chavez, Dolores Lopez, Scott Carvajal, Carlos Contreras, Richard Cisneros, Shawn Lopez and Jeff Perea.
