Ben Gallegos

Ben Gallegos, age 99, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on July 3, 2023. Mr. Gallegos is survived by children, Ralph Gallegos and wife, Claudia, Alex Gallegos, and Priscilla Trujillo, eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Phillip Gallegos and wife, Ida, Loyola Luna and husband, Bonifacio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cress Gallegos, brothers, Gilbert Gallegos, and Andy Gallegos.  Mr. Gallegos served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Visitation will be held at the Thomas Aquinas Newman Center 1815 Las Lomas Blvd NE at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023, with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Interment will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military honors where he will be laid to rest with his wife, Cress.
