ROBIN, BENJAMIN R., age 92, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Mr. Robin is survived by his nieces and nephews, Carolyn Bader, James Tinsmith and wife, Kathy, Bill Atkinson and wife, Ann, Dennis Atkinson and wife, Sue, Yvonne Bach Eisen and husband, Bill, Jean McCrea and husband Frank; sister in law, Sophie Robin Goodpasture and husband, Gary. Mr. Robin was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, manager of St. Vincent de Paul, an Extraordinary Minister to the Homebound and was a retired teacher from the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School. In his long and productive life, he had operated an antique and collectibles business, worked in manufacturing as an electronic technician, managed a Circle K and volunteered as a literacy teacher. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 10::30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3674 Highway 47, Peralta, NM with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Committal Service is scheduled for the Santa Fe National Cemetery Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Please visit www.gabaldonmortuaryinc.com to sign the online guestbook.
