Bernice Torrez

April 23, 2015Bernice Torrez, age 82,  born in Punta de Agua, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home with her family at her side, Thursday, April 23, 2015.  Mrs. Torrez is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Feliz (Phil) Torrez; children, Mary (Rita) Silva, Paul Torrez and wife, Cheryl, Phillip Torrez and wife, Martha, Rick Torrez and wife, Janet; sister, Clory Gutierrez and husband, Johnny; brothers, Alex Torres, Cande Torres and wife, Hope, Jose Torres and wife, Gloria; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; many other extended family members.  Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.  Please visit www.gabaldonmortuaryinc.com to sign the online guest book.
