Calistro B. Garcia (C.B.), age 95, born in Marquez , NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Garcia is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-eight years, Sophie; children, Benny C. Garcia and Catherine Garcia, Bert C. Garcia and wife, Cynthia, Brenda T. Garcia (Daddy's Diamond) and husband, Art; grandchildren, Cody L. Garcia and wife M. J., Christopher B. Garcia, Mallory Garcia, and Sarah Garcia and Ike Aguilar; great-grandchildren, Christopher B. Garcia, Josiah Calistro Garcia, Ashanti Contreras, and Marayah Contreras; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mr. Garcia was a Veteran of the U.S.  Air Force serving during WWII.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2016 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.   Interment will follow at the Sandia Memory Garden.  Pallbearers will be Lloyd Medina Jr., Christopher Cordova, James Martinez, Frank Martinez, Ike Aguilar and David Chavez.  Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Garcia, Robert Sanchez and Jennifer Garcia.
