Carlos Jacobo Gallegos

Carlos Jacobo Gallegos, age 85, born in Banon, Zacatecas, Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 5, 2025. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Anita Gallegos; children, Carlos Gallegos Jr. and wife, Sylvia, Patricia Mason, Eddie Gallegos, Cindy Serna and husband, Paul, Robert Gallegos, Jennifer Mulay and husband, Joseph, Tony Gallegos and wife, Jessica, and Laura Montoya and husband, Andrew; thirty-one grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Raul Gallegos, Olga Murillo, Ruben Gallegos, Everardo Gallegos, Telo Gallegos, Juvenal Gallegos; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Francisca Gallegos; siblings, Rosa Escobedo, Laura Carrillo, Amparo Gallegos, Adrian Gallegos and Jesus Gallegos. Visitation will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church 927 Arizona St. SE on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery 824 Menaul Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be, Dondino Mulay, Andrew Gallegos, Raymond Gallegos, Dominic Gomez, Kobe Gallegos, John Gomez, Christopher Gallegos, Jeremiah Serna, Anthony Gallegos, J.P. Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearers will be Krisstian and Andrew Montoya.
