Carmen Duree

Carmen Duree passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Carmen was a devout Catholic who never missed her daily and Sunday mass and prayed her Rosary faithfully. She instilled her beliefs to everyone that knew her. She loved her family and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play their favorite sport and was their biggest cheerleader.

She is survived by her sister, Viola Garcia of Las Cruces; brother in-law, Tony Cordova of Albuquerque; children, JoAnn, Duana (Lelo),  Dominic (Denise), Eloy (Leanne); and a very special niece who she always considered as a daughter Maria (Raymond); grandchildren, Eric (Natalie), Ramon (Diana), Casey (Jolene), Chelsea (Patrick), Taylor (Jessica) Caitlin, and Josh (Shannon); great-grandchildren, Dominic, Danielle, Emma, Ezra, Xavier, Mckenzy, Rylee, and Raegan.

Carmen is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Flora Garcia; sisters, Josephine Robles, Lupe Robles and Margie Cordova; brothers, Manuel Serna, Ernie Garcia and Eloy Serna.

Services for Carmen Duree will be held Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. A Visitation will take place at 7:45am, with a rosary to be recited at 8:15am, and a Mass of a Christian Burial to follow at 9:00am. The Burial will then follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Eric, Ramon, Casey, Taylor, Chelsea, Caitlin. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren, Dominic, Danielle, Ezra, Xavier, Emma, Mckenzy, Rylee and Raegan.
