     BARROS, CAROLINA SEDILLO, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was born January 14, 1927 and passed away peacefully at home Thursday, May 15, 2014 following a lengthy illnesss. Mrs. Barros was preceded in death by her husband, Epi Barros and her eldest son, Ricardo Barros. Mrs. Barros is survived by her children, Jerry Barros, Lorraine Quirino and husband, Joe, and Tony Barros; sisters, Priscilla Chavez, Julia Gallegos and husband, Alex, and Mary Trujillo; brothers, David Sedillo and wife, Mae, and Solomon Sedillo Jr. and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Carlos, Andres, Javier, Lucas, Eduardo, Gabriela, Sonia, Serafina, Brianna; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Carolina was a member of the Altar Society, the Sacred Heart of Holy Rosary Church for fifty plus years, an auxiliary member of the America Legion, Post 72 and was retired from APS after thirty years. Carolina was an excellent cook and baker who taught us all to cook, a trait that we in turn have all continued.  She loved music, especially Al Hurricane, and was full of life, loved dancing, singing and laughing.  She and her husband were the proprietors of Epi's Lounge for twenty years.  Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Dan and Rose Lopez.  Final visitation will be Tuesday, May, 20, 2014 at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Carlos Barros, Andres Barros, Javier Quirino, Gino Sedillo, Michael Cramer and Solomon Chavez.  The family would like to thank the caretakers from Sandia Hospice and the family also requests in lieu of flowers, dontations be made to the Alzheimers Association of New Mexico
