Celina (Sally) Alderete, age 90, born in Domingo, New Mexico, and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, May 13th, 2017, with her family by her side. Sally was born September 5th, 1926 to Luciano Gonzales and Odelia Leyba.  In 1947 she was married to Paul Alderete.  Sally was a proud mother to Stan, Ivan, and his wife, Theresa.  Her love and devotion for her grandsons, Jason and Gary was shown through the time she spent with them.   Sally worked at the Bernalillo County Marriage License Department.  She enjoyed taking trips around the world, living life to the fullest.  We would like to thank God for blessing us with such a wonderful, wife, mother, and grandmother.  We now commit her back into Your loving arms Lord, until we meet again.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 18th, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Drive SW; with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Friday, May 19th, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
