Clara Galloway

Clara Galloway (Herrera), age 85, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 10, 2023. Clara is survived by her children, Kathy Ornelas and husband, Mike, Sandra Ballantyne and husband, Ross, Louise Galloway and husband, Chuck Velarde, Sid Galloway and wife Jessica, Judy Galloway, and Martin Lozano; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; siblings, Irene Blea and husband, John, Pully Herrera, Christy Herrera and wife, Arleen, Fred Herrera and wife, Yolanda, Donna Marsico and husband, Steve; her special caregiver, Heather Umstot. She was preceded in death by her parents Mariano and Reyna Herrera; husband, Cedric, sister, Senaida Charley and great-grandson, Enrique Leija. Visitation will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be, Ross Ballantyne, Chuck Velarde, John Ross Ballantyne, Ninel Leija, David Olivares, Mariano Leija. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Vincent Blea, Jessica Leija, Cassidy Olivares. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at Hospice of New Mexico.
