Claudina C. Valencia, age 87, a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away Sunday, August 09, 2015. Mrs. Valencia is survived by her children, Helen Apodaca, and husband, Agapito, Jose Valencia, Ramon Valencia, Juanita Valencia and partner, Alex Williams, Gerald Valencia and wife, Roberta; a grandson she raised, Richard Valencia Jr.; sister, Mariquita Garcia; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Valencia was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Valencia; parents, Adelaido and Martha Salas; children, Lupe Pacheco, David Valencia, and Ricky Valencia; and grandson, Juanito Pacheco. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Private disposition will follow at a later date.
