Corine Chavez

 d. November 27, 2015     Corine M. Chavez, age 85, born in Sedillo, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passes away Friday, November 27, 2015.  Mrs. Chavez is survived by her children, Lorencita Chavez, Betty Ann Silva, Diana Chavez, Joe Chavez and wife, Theresa, Benny Chavez and wife, Louisa, Sandra Avalos and husband, Michael, Johnny Chavez and wife, Loretta;  daughter in law, Berna Chavez; sisters, Annbell Stevens, and Julia Hamilton; brothers, Eden Jinzo, and Lupe Jinzo and wife, Betty;  twenty grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mrs. Chavez was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Adela Jinzo; husband, Silverio Chavez; sons, Toby, and Paul Chavez; granddaughter, Julie Chavez; brother, Tony Jinzo; and sister, Susie Mendez. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 01, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recites at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW , Wednesday, December 02, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrate at 10:00 a.m.   Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Larry Silva, Toby Avalos, Steven Chavez, Leon Lucero, Josh Chavez, and Jason Chavez.  Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Chavez Jr., Francisco Jaramillo Jr., Raymond Soto, Frank Abeyta, Michael Vialpando, Angelo Avalos, and Joseph Chavez.To sign Mrs. Chavez's guest book, please scroll down and fill out the comment box.Thank you,The Gabaldon Family & Staff
