Danny Vargas

Danny Vargas, age 60, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 13, 2023. Danny is survived by his wife of twenty years, Shirley Romero Vargas; mother, Mary Willsen Lovato; children, Richard Vargas, Michael Vargas, Nicole Lovato and husband, Anthony, and Steven Gonzales; five grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; many extended, friends, and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father, Petronilo Vargas and sister, Hope. Danny was dearly loved and appreciated by his father in-law, Jose Romero; mother in-law, Arlene Romero; sister in-law, Gloria and Jerry, the rest of the Romero Family; aswell as his dearly loved brothers, Steven Carpenter, David Lucero and many others. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and forever bestfriend.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd NW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow the services at The Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, 501 N. Guadalupe St. where the committal service is scheduled promptly at 12:30p.m.
