David Joe Lopez, age 64, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on December 11, 2022. David is survived by his daughter, Janelle Lopez, and fiancé, Robert Candelaria; son, Jason Lopez and girlfriend, Kaitlyn Anderson; mother of his children, Yvette Dow; two grandchildren, Adrian Lopez, and Jayden Candelaria; sisters, Rosie Baca, Irene Abeyta, Vickie Sanchez, and husband, Chris; brothers, Marty Lopez and wife, Marie, Bobby Lopez and wife, Patty; Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Lily Lopez and son Derek Lopez; brother in-law Alfred Abeyta. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers, and Dodgers. Wear a Jersey or any sports memorabilia of your choice for the service. Visitation will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Luis Garcia presiding.
