David Marquez, age 72, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, April 09, 2016. Mr. Marquez is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-four years, Pauline;  son, Chris Marquez; grandchildren, David Marquez, and Nicole Marquez; his mother, Grace O. Black; sister, Merlinda Mang and husband, Thomas; brother, Ron Marquez and wife, Julia Archibeque;  sister in law, Dolores Kaehr and husband, Ron;  brothers in law,  Jake Barela and wife, Lucy Encee, and Ron Barela; many nieces, nephews, cousins,  and friends.  David was preceded in death by his father, Howard C. Black; uncle, Bernie Olguin; brother in law, Frank Barela; and niece, Shanna Mang. Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2016 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW from  9:45 a.m. until 10: 15 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. by Connie Orona; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.
