Delfinia Dominguez

Delfinia Maria Herrera Dominguez, age 87, passed away peacefully at home Monday, July 8, 2019.  Delfinia was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Dominguez; parents, Zenon and Mercedes (Baca) Herrera; her brothers, Samuel and wife, Antonia, Gavino and wife, Ramona, Delfin, Juan Jose, Ramon, Marc and Abelicio; her sisters, Eloisa and husband, Joe Luna, Esther Saavedra, Anna Jensen, and Gabriela; brothers-in-law, Archie Montoya and Ben Vega.  Delfinia is survived by her sisters, Gabie Vega, Lupe Montoya, Peggy and husband, Joe Ortiz, and Sally and husband, Juan Carrillo; her brother-in-law, Niels Jensen and sisters-in-law, Candy, Genova and Hilda; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and the children of her late husband.  Delfinia was born and raised in Manzano, NM and lived most of her life in Albuquerque. She will always be remembered for her loving, welcoming and giving nature; her beautiful handmade dolls and quilts; and her devotion to family and church.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 16th, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 with a visitation starting at 8:00 a.m., Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  A reception will immediately follow the services at the family home; with Interment will take place at 1:45 p.m. Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM 87501.
