Desiderio Ramirez

Pastor Desiderio Ramirez, age 69, born in Cabezon NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020.  Mr. Ramirez is survived by his children, Desiderio Mike Ramirez Jr., Charmaine Ramirez, Venessa Ramirez and husband, Esteban Enriquez, Aaron Ramirez, Jonathan Ramirez and wife, Melissa, Adrianna Ramirez, Joshua Ramirez and wife, Marissa, Josephine Martinez and Michael Trevino; brothers Jose Ramirez, Jake Ramirez; sisters Margie Hernandez, Alice Ramirez, Joyce Armijo;  grandchildren, Esteban Jr., Aaron Jr., Isaac, Elena, Marcella, Jonathan Jr, Romancita Angel, Sarai Veronica; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife Romancita, parents, Celso and Concepcion Ramirez; brothers, Adrian Ramirez, Victor Ramirez; sisters Desideria Ramirez, Juanita Ramirez, Tila Ramirez and granddaughter, Ellie.

Desiderio was a Pastor, Evangelist and born-again Christian for many years. Along with his wife Romancita they founded Agape Outreach Christian Church. His passion was to take the Gospel to the lost and hurting via tent revivals throughout New Mexico and Mexico. He touched many lives by feeding and clothing those less fortunate and through different prison ministries.

A visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Funeral Service to be held at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery

Pallbearers will be Desiderio Ramirez Jr., Aaron Ramirez, Jonathan Ramirez, Joshua Ramirez, Esteban Enriquez Sr. and Esteban Enriquez Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Trevino, Raymond Sandoval, Elena Enriquez, Margarito Baca, Jose Ramirez, and Jake Ramirez.
