Dwight Kenneth Hohenstein-"Inyan Hoksina" (Stone Boy), age 61 of Albuquerque, N.M., passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Dwight Kenneth was born July 1, 1957 in Bismarck, North Dakota and was an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, during his life he worked as a welder in the construction industry, an oil exploration operator, and was a loving devoted father and family man. Ken enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles and had many repairing and building projects in his spare time. Dwight Kenneth is survived by his Mother Thelma Winters, Father Carl Hohenstein, son, Buckskin Tsosie-Hohenstein and significant other Bree Cheromiah, daughter-Terrie Tsosie-Hohenstein, their mother, Charlotte Tsosie, grandchildren, Joseph Cannata Jr., Bridget Tsosie-Hohenstein, Kenneth Tsosie-Hohenstien, siblings- Raymond Winters, Carl Winters and wife Mary Esther, Curtis Hohenstein and wife Sadie, Tona Treetop, Tana Smith, Michelle Foth, as well as nephews, Dakota Goodhouse, David Winters, Patrick Winters, Robbie Winters, Beau Smith, Derek Smith, Mateo Treetop, and niece April Winters, as well as many great nephews and nieces. Dwight Kenneth Hohenstein was preceded in death by his daughter, Bobbie Sunshine Tsosie-Hohenstein, sister, Rena Smith-Woodward, grandfather, Francis H. Winters, and Grandmother Esther Belland.
Interment will be at the Seama Cemetery - Laguna Pueblo, on Saturday July 28, 2018.
