Edna Sami

Edna M. Sami, age 76, born in Albuquerque, and a resident of Isleta Pueblo, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Sami is survived by her husband of forty-one years,  Kenneth Sami; children, Thomas K. Sami, and Sonya Sami-Martinez and husband, Jerry Jr.; brother, Thomas Abeita and wife, Dolores; grandson, Johnathan Martinez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Isleta Pueblo, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Father George Pavamkott, presider.  Interment will follow at the Isleta Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be Jerry Martinez Jr., Johnathan Martinez, Marvin Abeita, Adrian Reckaway, Frankie Fuentes, and Paul Armijo.  Honorary pallbearers will be Daryl Reckaway, and Tommy Johnson.
