Edna Mae Gallegos

Edna Mae Dolores Gallegos née Lovato, 79, born in Wagon Mound, NM, passed away February 10, 2018 at her home in Albuquerque. Edna is survived by her husband of 60 years, Amadeo Gallegos; their children, Catherine Gallegos-Vall and husband, Randy, V. Mark Gallegos, Annette Gallegos, Janette Gallegos-Elrod and husband, Phillip, Carl Gallegos and Justin Maez; grandchildren, Rachael, Lauren, Bryan, Autumn, Patrick, and Janelle Gallegos, Alec and Caitlynn Vall; great grandson, Aiden Martinez; siblings, Eugene, William, and Frank Lovato and Lucille Martinez.  Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and Lorencita Lovato; two brothers, Louie and Phillip Lovato; and two daughters, Rosemary and Laura Marie Gallegos; she joins them with the Lord.  Her legacy will live on through her family and their love. We invite you to remember and celebrate Edna's life.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.; a final visitation will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with a Committal service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mark Gallegos, Carl Gallegos, Bryan Gallegos, Alec Vall, Randy Vall and Justin Maez.
