Eduardo Gabaldon

d. January 30, 2015    GABALDON, EDUARDO C., age 100, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015, a home with his family at his side. Mr. Gabaldon is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Martha; children, James E. Gabaldon and fiancee, Loreen, Linda Gabaldon, Nancy Merritt, Mona Padilla and husband, Mark, Tita Gomez and husband, Johnny, Lisa Trujillo and husband, Bernie; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gabaldon was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII. Visitation will be Monday, February 9, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church 2401 Broadway SE. Final visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at San Jose Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 10:00 a.m. A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Pallbearers will be Al Chavez, Matt Chavez, Jacob Merritt, Jermaine Patterson, Jude Gabaldon, and Richard Guillen. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Padilla, Bernie Trujillo, William Lucero, Josh Lucero, Angel Lucero, Dion Lucero, and Patrick Spomer.
