      BENAVIDEZ, EDWARD D., age 55, born in Belen, NM, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014,  Edward is survived by his parents, Jose and Eloisa Benavidez; brothers, Frank Benavidez, and Tommy Benavidez and Corine; sisters, Rita Montoya and husband, Samuel, and Gloria Baca and husband, John; nieces and nephews, Desiree, Felicia, Franky Jr., Monique, Julian, Anthony, Sherice, Alfonso, Jordan, Vanessa and Makala. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Edmund Savilla, presider.  Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Frank Benavidez Sr., Franky Benavidez Jr., Tommy Benavidez, Sam Montoya, Alfonso Baca, Julian Montoya, Anthony Montoya,  Larry Gutierrez and Leroy Gutierrez.
