Elijah Gabriel Pohl Morfin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elijah G Pohl Morfin, a resident of Albuquerque NM. Who went to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Friday December 8,2023 at the age of 16.  Elijah was born on May 4, 2007. The son of Gabriel Pohl and Selina Morfin.

Elijah is preceded in death by his grandfather Arthur Martinez, his great grandparents Sergio and Julia Morfin and great grandfather Max Carabajal, great great grandmother Beatrice Salazar, his cousin Aaliyiah Morfin.

Elijah is survived by his brothers Jeramiah Morfin, Jordan Pohl Morfin.  His grandparents Randy and Isabel Morfin, grandmother Debra Pohl, great grandmother Rosella Carabajal. Aunt Amber Pohl, Uncles Sergio Morfin and William Herrera.  First cousins Sergio Morfin Jr, Noah, Autumn, Aubree Pohl and many cousins and extended family.

Elijah will be remembered for his kindness, and there was never a day he wasn’t smiling.  He always had a willingness to help anyone without hesitation.  Elijah had a passion for football since 5th grade and it continued on to high school.  He was dedicated to his Education & work. Elijah’s pride and joy was his black beamer and his dog Duke, mostly being a son and Brother. The love for his family and friends was endless and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

 A Visitation for Elijah will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 6:00pm with a Rosary to be recited by Patricia Muniz Roberts at 7:00pm all to be held in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive Sw, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87121. A Mass will be taking place on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 10:00am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church located at 8301 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121 with a Burial to follow to the Family Private cemetery in Agua Sarca (Coyote NM)
