Elisia Sanchez

Maria Elisia Sanchez, age 97, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019.  Mrs. Sanchez is by her children, Emily Castro, Marcella Romero, Adolph Sanchez and companion Rosa Chavez, Gloria Trujillo, Isabel Lovato and husband, Mike, Theresa Humphreys, Raymond Sanchez; Twenty-eight grandchildren; Forty-six great grandchildren; Thirty-one great-great grandchildren.  Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Sanchez, daughter, Vera Chavez; grandson’s David Chavez and Keith Sanchez; great-grandchildren, John Anthony Maldonado, Dominick Tapia.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. S.W.  with a Rosary to be recited by Pete Montoya at 8:30 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow services at Sunset Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Lawrence Pacheco, James Castro, George Romero, Moises Lovato, Eric Sanchez, Timothy Humphreys.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Adolph Sanchez, Antonio Trujillo, Kevin Sanchez.
