Elizabeth (Lizz) Ann Gabaldon, age 62,  a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Elizabeth is survived by her two sons, Christopher M. Gabaldon and wife, Andrea, and Joseph N. Gabaldon; sister, Dorothy L. Gabaldon; brothers, Rick Gabaldon Sr. and fiancée, Josie, Walter Gabaldon Sr. and wife, Lisa; sisters in law, Christine Luera Gabaldon, and Terre Gabaldon; grandchildren, Rachel Gabaldon, Christopher Gabaldon Jr., Aaron Gabaldon, Sarai Gabaldon, Joelyn Gabaldon; aunt, Mrs. Orpha Robles; uncle, Henry P. Gabaldon; her best friend, Theresa Vasquez and husband, Clyde; special nephews, Walter Gabaldon Jr. and wife, Stephanie and their family, Aiden and Riley, and Dominic Rodriguez; nieces, and nephews, Karen and husband, Jack and their family, Kristina, Kathyrn, and Jasmin, Carol and husband, Manuel and their family, Joshua and Elliana, Camille and husband, Greg and family, Marianna and Alycia; Rick Jr. and wife, Marty and their son, Ricky, Diana and husband, David and their family, David G. III, Duke, and MaryLou, Erika and her daughter, Emilia, D'Ana, Greg II, Ashley, Candace Marie and Alberto and their family Mariano and Leana, and Gregory and his children, Veronica , and Gregory Jr.; many cousins, and friends.  Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Norbert (Bert) and Mary Lou Gabaldon; brothers, Greg Gabaldon Sr. and Tom Gabaldon.  Elizabeth was a proud owner of Gabaldon Mortuary for over thirty-five years, a licensed Funeral Service Intern and was a graduate of Valley High School, Class of 1970.  Liz loved her father, God and his son, Jesus Christ. Visitation will be Saturday July 11, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 am. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church,  5415 Fortuna Rd NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery,1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Christopher M. Gabaldon Jr., David Gregory Sanchez lll, Dominic E. Rodriguez, Walter J. Gabaldon Jr., Rick Gabaldon Jr., Greg Gabaldon ll ; Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Gabaldon, Duke N. Sanchez, Raymond McGuiness, Kathryn Martinez, Joshua Macias, Mariano Gabaldon, Mariana Rodriguez, Alycia Atkins and Ricky Gabaldon III.
