Elojio Montano, age 92, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away March 27, 2017 with his family by his side. Mr. Montano is survived by his sister, Elisia Sanchez and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.  Mr. Montano is preceded in death by his parents, Emiliano and Elvira Montano; brothers, Jose Antonio Montano and Eliseo Montano; sisters, Bessie Sanchez, Eloisa Sedillo, and Jesusita Montano. Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at the Chilili Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Pacheco, Johnny Chavez, George Romero Jr., Adolph Sanchez, Pete Montano, and Raymond Sanchez.
