   MONTOYA, ELOY, age 96, a lifelong resident of the Village of La Bajada, NM passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015.  Mr. Montoya is survived by his children, Eloy B. Montoya Jr., Rosella Urrea, Patricia Diane Montoya; brother,  Emiterio Montoya Jr.; grandchildren,  Fabrienne, Millicent, Greg, Erick, Gabrielle, David, Jessica, Erica, and Laura; great-grandchildren, Michael, Tristen, James, Vivien, Adrian, Lorena, Andrea, Erick Jr., Courtnee, Rylee, Ayvree, Michaela, Ethan, Jayden, Elijah, and Isabella; his dog, Buddy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Mr. Montoya was preceded in death by his wife, Odilia.  Mr. Montoya was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 2:30 p.m.  Final visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Pena Blanca, NM from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m.  A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at  1:30 p.m.  Pallbearers will be David Urrea, Greg Montoya, Erick Montoya, Luis Mariscal, Darren Munsenburger, and Ramon Delgado.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Meek, Phillip Meek, Armando Jurado, David Sandoval, Edward Romero, and Angelo Leija.
