Eloy Sandoval, age 88, born in Belen, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Sandoval is survived by his son, Charles Sandoval; daughter, Marie Sandoval and Marty Padilla; grandson, Gabriel Costales; special friend, Fred Teupell; sisters, Ester Flores, and Mary Atencio; brother, Daniel Sandoval and wife, Rosalie; sisters in law, Agnes Martinez and Carmen Rodriguez, Cecilia Strader, Georgiana Wheeler and husband, Don; brother in law, Joe Velasquez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sandoval was preceded in death by his wife, Maida (Velasquez) Sandoval. Mr. Sandoval was retired from the U.S. Air Force after twenty two years of service. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Shrine of the Little Flower, Parish of the Infant Jesus, 3424 4th St. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.   Final visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Bishop Arthur Tafoya. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Sandoval, Daniel Sandoval Sr., Daniel Sandoval Jr., Donald Wheeler, Marty Padilla, and Fred Teupell.
