Emiliano Herrera Sr., born in Huejucar, Jalisco, Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, August 03, 2016 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Herrera is survived by his children, Emiliano Herrera II and wife, Celia, Serjio Herrera and wife, Lisa, Armando Herrera and wife, Ellen, and Irma Sanchez; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.   Mr.  Herrera was preceded in death by his wife, Eva; and daughter, Evangelina. Visitation will be Monday, August 08, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at St Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. by the grandchildren; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Bijoy Francis, presider.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Armando Herrera Jr., Sergio Herrera, Jose Martin Herrera, Julio Roman Herrera, Roman Juan Carlos Herrera, and Cristian Emmanuel Herrera.  Honorary pallbearers will be Miguel Angel Herrera, Emiliano Herrera III, Enrique Sanchez, Rodolfo Sanchez, Antonio Gaspar, and Juan Lopez.
