Erik Abel Casares, age 38, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. Erik is survived by his children, Alyssa Vasquez, Erika (Taz) Casares, Sunshine Casares, Candido (Candy) Casares; his parents, Abel and Abbie Casares; fiancée, Veronica Chavez; siblings, Geri Aragon, Kristine Aragon, Marcie Casares-Fresquez and husband, Stephen, and Carlos Casares and wife, Olivia; grandson, Sergio Cano; the mother of his children, Adeline Martinez;   several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Erik was the founder of Kandy Konnection. Visitation will be Saturday, August 01, 2015 at the Le Baron Center, 2118 Menaul Blvd. NE from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carlos Casares, Leo ( Patches) Martinez, Mario Moya, Fernando Moya, Joey (Wedito) Bartlett, and Eddie (Huero) Martinez.
