Ernest Dow

Ernest Dow, age 86, born in Chilili, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018.  Mr. Dow is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Florence (Rusty) Dow; children, Velma S. Martinez and husband, Filberto II, Lily Dow, Carla Baron, Arlene D. Bullard and husband, Jimmy, Ernest E. Dow and wife, Diane, Daniel M. Dow and wife, Joanna, Carol L. Dow; brothers, Leo Dow, Orlando Dow and wife, Helen, Robert Dow; sisters, Prescilla Dow and Mary Dow; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and two on the way; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Mr. Dow was preceded in death by his parents, Elisha and Claudina Dow; brothers, Jimmie, Arthur and Archie Dow; granddaughter, Elena Soliz; sisters-in-law, Andie and Ramona Dow.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 9:15 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Dow, Flavio Martinez, Jonothan Martinez, Filiberto Martinez III, Javier Hall-Martinez and Brandon Dow.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Filiberto Martinez II, Ernest E. Down, Jimmy Bullard, Gary Dow, Orlando Dow Jr. and Walter Dow.
