Ernest B. Taylor, age 84, born in Magdalena, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Taylor is survived by his beloved wife of sixty -one years, Priscilla; children, Michael Taylor, Charles Taylor and wife, Linda, Annabelle Pettitt, Yvonne Taylor, Deborah Alfaro and husband, Anthony, Matthew Taylor and wife, Marila, Vincent Taylor and wife, Frances, and Peter Taylor and wife, Annette; sister, Martha Crespin; twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his son, Ernest John Taylor; and grandson, Eric Joseph Taylor. A special thank you to his medical caregivers, Dr. Warren Heffron, and Dr. Cristina Beato, and also to the visiting nurse, Cynthia Tabet. Mr. Taylor was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Rd. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. A Committal Service is scheduled to follow Mass at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Pallbearers will be Michael Taylor, Charles Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Vincent Taylor, Peter Taylor, and Anthony Alfaro.
