Esperanza Rivera

d. October 30, 2015Esperanza R. Rivera, age 78, (Our Ama), a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Rivera is survived by her children,  Roberto Rivera and wife, Amelia, Rene Rivera and Judith, Octavio Rivera and Cathy, Irma Cramins and husband, Garry, Morayma Sanchez and husband Gilbert, Josefina Sandoval and husband, Carlos, Rosa Rivera, and Eric Chavez and wife, Erika; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Fidela Fuentes and husband, Pedro, and Graciela Gomez; brother, Gavino Ramirez and wife, Anita.  Mrs. Rivera was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Rivera; parents, Prudencio and Piedad Ramirez; children, Ramon and Ismael Rivera; Leo T. and Maria Chavez.  Visitation will be Sunday,  November 01, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial; visitation will be Sunday, November 01, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 301 Stover SW  from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with  a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Father Rick Zerwas and Deacon Robert Vigil.  Final visitation will be Monday, November 02, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m., Father Rick Zerwas, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Rivera, Eric Chavez, Paul Cramins, Jose Cramins.
