Eufelia Archunde

Eufelia (Marquez) Archunde, age 90, born in McGaffy, New Mexico and a resident of Seboyeta, New Mexico, passed away on December 9, 2021.  Mrs. Archunde is survived by her children, Mati Gonzales, Gene Archunde and wife Laura, Jeff Archunde and wife, Dawn; seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Cesario Archunde; grandchild, Barbara Ortega; great-great grandchild Kimberly Vargas; and parents Alejandro and Barbarita Marquez.  She recently made twenty dozen tamales in November, and she always had fresh beans, chile and homemade tortillas for whoever stopped by to visit.  Visitation will be on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors SW.  A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta, N.M. with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at the Bibo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Vargas, Caleb Stelzig, Bennie Garcia, Tim Gonzales Brandon Gonzales, Rodney Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joe Rodriguez, Ethan Nappier, Bentley Nappier, Rudy Marquez, Treyden Gonzales, Tyan Gonzales, Joe Vargas, Rayan Stelzig, Abigail Archundi.
